I was born in 2015 in Fidim Municipality-11 Fevadin. In our times, there was a social belief that 'Kami-Damai' should not read. However, despite going to school for one or two days insisting that he would study, he was told that he would not be allowed to sit in the classroom with the children of 'Bishta'. When my heart died with such words, the Aran at home became the school of my upbringing.

The younger grandfather used to make tools like sickles, clubs and spades by beating iron in this aran. I played around and started helping him to pull Aran, calling him Baje . Since I learned to make weapons at the age of 10, I have remained in this profession till now.

Even at the age of 64, he is busy making tools and sharpening old weapons all day long. Where is this job easy? As difficult as it is to shape the weapon by heating the iron in the fire, it is also difficult to gather the necessary materials .

When we grow up, we remember having to reach Darjeeling in India to carry iron . Even when arriving here by road, I remember carrying iron from Ilam, Ranke and Lalikhark many times . As the highway touches the courtyard, after paying the rent, now the car drops the iron at the house .

I sit in Aran from 7 am to earn tools and earn money. A furnace should be made to blow fire in the aran, and the skin of an ox needed for that is not always available. Somewhere, old or fallen, I come with a dead needle. It costs up to 5000 for one skin to buy. 

To melt the iron, you have to buy the coal to light the fire, the iron to hold, the line to lay, the hammer to beat and the hammer. According to the current market price, it costs 3000 rupees per gallon, 1000 rupees per cubic meter and 500 rupees per gallon. Iron needed to make tools costs 200 rupees per kg. I make and use Sanaso myself. It takes a lot of strength to work iron. Also, sitting on a couch and burning iron in the fire will burn the guts . It takes a lot of effort, courage and strength, whether it's hitting iron with a cube or holding a hot iron in the fire.

I use iron to make khukuri, khurpa, sickle, thorn, spade, thorn and club and get a good price according to hard work . Customers from the 11th, 12th, 13th Wards of Fidim to Phalelung Rural Municipality come here to make tools and make money. The villagers near the house give grain for wages. It is customary to call it Bali. Sons have gone abroad to earn. The daughters-in-law do farm work. The rice and corn grown on their land is enough to eat for 6 months. 

The crop given by Bishta grows for three more months . For the remaining three months, rice worth 12,000 rupees has to be bought . I have a family of 6 including my wife, two daughters-in-law and 2 granddaughters. Once a week we pay 1000 and eat meat and rice . Half a liter of oil is used for cooking food. It costs 1,500 to 2,000 rupees per month to buy cooking oil and 500 rupees for tea leaves. Apart from that, it costs 100 rupees to buy salt and 100 rupees for spices. The account of the purchase of clothes is not kept.

There is no account of how much is earned in a month. However, life is based on beating iron. I'm healthy because I sweat while working on the ar . As they could not take regular medicine, they got help in collecting kitchen items. Earlier, when we went to Bishta's house, the plates we were given to eat were different. After eating, he had to brush himself . He used to put lohotaun himself in the place where he ate . This is not the case now, we are also respected by Bista. 

All over the village, the tools I made are used in farming . Even if you can't save a lot by earning, the household is still going on . I am happy about this. The son and grandson refused to work. I will hold the ancestral place as long as I can . I am working hard and sweating as business is a service .
