I could not study above the 7th standard because I was surrounded by family troubles. After leaving school, daily labor became my routine. I got married three years ago. While working as a wage worker, I met Khusiram Chaudhary from my village. The appearance with Khushi turned into love without realizing it. We got married after deciding to live a happy life by holding the cord of love that sprouted like this.

After marriage, I came to Rupandehi with my husband to earn. Husband works as a mason to build a house . I help by working . Daily wage from labor is our household expenses. From the camp at Tilottama-6, we leave for work before 7 in the morning . I go back to my room around 10 am and cook dinner . Together with the husband and wife, we get back to work after being hungry. 

The contractor has arranged the room where we are staying. He has also arranged the ration for food. Every evening at 6 o'clock we return to the dera tired from the day's work . Then I start cooking . 

I am the eldest among five sisters. I was born in Garhwa in Dang. Being the eldest daughter, I am well aware of the hardships of domestic behavior from an early age.

We are not happy with the huge profits made by suffering. However, Zenten home spending has continued. Sometimes we have thought about this. I earn 500 rupees from daily wages . The monthly salary is Rs 15,000. As there is no cost for food and accommodation, it is okay to cover household expenses with this amount of money . Let's put it more simply, it is okay to eat in the evening and in the morning that has been earned throughout the day . If you don't save even one rupee from the earned money for the future, it will be very painful. 

There are mother-in-law, father-in-law and Deurani in Dang's house. Son-in-law's 2 children are studying in boarding . My brother-in-law, husband and I earn 20 to 50 thousand rupees per month, but due to wage/wage work, we don't always earn the same amount . We buy clothes worth Rs 3,000 a month from the money we earn through hard work . We have sent the money earned by the remaining three people home. 

We have come to the conclusion that money cannot be saved by doing wage labor. However, when I hear that my co-workers save money and make gold jewelry, I also feel the same desire . Friends say that it takes a lot of work to make gold jewelry. Although I want to make jewelry, I have not been able to buy it. 

I have also consulted my husband about saving money and buying jewelry. I have a dream to collect some amount from the monthly earnings and make a top, sikri and ring in the ear and wear it . Earlier there was no custom of wearing jewelery in the Tharu community. Now my friend who works with me has also made jewelry, because he said that he will work later when he is sad, so my desire has also increased. 

My mother-in-law's financial condition is also not good . Father is the only earner in Maiti house. My younger sister is disabled. Maiti's condition is critical. Parents are getting old . The sisters are growing up . One brother is very young . I am tired of not being able to see Maiti at this time. 

Even though I grew up in poverty, I have not been disappointed even though poverty has tormented me every day . Sometimes, even being the eldest child, he remembered that he was not able to fulfill his duties. The pain of having a daughter will start at that time . Now the expenses of Zenten are going on, I am worried about how I will be able to meet the household expenses after having a child tomorrow . After the birth of children, this income is not enough!

When you buy what you like, eat and go for a visit, this expense becomes expensive. After the end of the month, the money comes to hand, but after a day ends, the pocket is always empty . It was not possible to sit without working. You don't get money by relaxing, but you feel sad if you can't buy anything even after earning.
