My house is Deukhuri in Dang. After completing SLC, I came to Kathmandu around the time of the 2062/63 movement. Moving towards me is a modern and folk song. However, I like modern songs very much. While in school, I loved pop songs by Yash Kumar, Sugam Pokhrel and Naveen K Bhattarai.

I came to Kathmandu and enrolled in Ratnarajya Lakshmi Campus. While studying, I got inclined towards classical music. I did my master's degree in classical music from the university, thinking that I should complete my studies. But I am working in modern and folk songs in order to sustain myself professionally and to be liked by the audience. 

The song I am singing is a folk song . Folk, pop and modern are genres of music. I have released two solo albums in the genre of easy music . I started studying for 10 years . I did not work on the album during my studies. But since 2071 released two albums of easy music. After two years, my inclination is towards folk songs. Because my identity, the smell of the soil, the music that can be understood by the common people, and the mood of the common people is folk songs, so my inclination towards it has increased .

The new generation is loving fusion type songs . Working in the old rhythm called folk song, in some cases it is not possible to win everyone's heart commercially. The current generation likes songs that are mixed with western music in terms of instruments or in terms of presentation, even if the tune is a little low.

Although I have worked in accessible music, it has been folk songs that have been commercially successful . Folk and Dohri have two parts . I didn't go to Dohri . I continued the folk songs that our forefathers were singing . Jhalakman Gandharva, Bam Bahadur Karki, Lok Bahadur Chhetri, Shambhu Rai and others have enriched folk music.

I am mostly working only for myself . Haven't made that many songs for others professionally . Now, after spending time and studying, I think that songs should be based on folklore. Without expecting too much, without thinking that I will succeed professionally in life, I am going to create by studying and researching and collecting . I want my life to go on and folk music to go forward. In the context of Nepal, folklore is a tune that never dies.

Earlier Narayan Gopal and Bhaktaraj Acharya used to sing . Similarly, Ramakrishna Dhakal, Shiv Pariyar and Pramod Kharel in the last generation sing songs. They saw good success. I don't see it being successful in the current modern generation . Then what goes viral on the social network, what will be made into a song? That's why easy music is fading .

Now there is a tendency to use loose words or words with double meaning in folk songs . There is no stop and limit anywhere . That's why people are making such songs thinking only commercially. It worries me to see loose words mixed in folk music that has been played and sung since before . That would not have happened . Because folk music is respectable music . 

Another problem is in video making . What is being experienced and seen live is audio and video. Which made an audio with a word that has a double meaning and showed it in its full form in the video . It is better to think about these two things . 

is also the originator of collecting and singing good folk songs. In the distance, Deuda and a little bit of Var come and tappa, which runs towards Dang and Salyan . Going a little higher towards the Gandak region, it is Salaijee . There are Roila songs on the way to the Gurung settlement area . Our chutke hymns are . Going to the east is done . Now going to Terai there are Maithili and Tharu songs . 

Small country has many folk songs . I think that the government should take special steps to make all these songs known globally as the identity of their country. The government has not done that . 

There is currently a problem of unemployment in the country. With this in mind, I brought 'Pirai Pir' in 2080 . It has been viewed over a million times on YouTube. This is a story of direct unemployed youth . The unemployed are found in chokchok. Read, not work . What is going on in their mind?

There are many problems especially among young people . They spend years studying . Parents have a big investment . 15,000 rupees worth of jobs should also be taxed. That is also not found . It is not otherwise to think of going abroad after paying a salary that cannot support the life of a young person who has spent years of his youth studying. 

Now I want to work on folk songs about the concerns I have experienced and seen. a  A lot of people liked my folk song "Janda Jana Bandipur Bari..." sung by the 68-year-old mother. Now, I have taken the team of 'Janda Janay Bandipur' and put mothers over 60 years old in the chorus. I have kept 4 fathers over 60 years old by doing that. I am doing a folk song for mother . The shooting of the same is going on in Dang . This is also connected directly or indirectly to the present situation.
