US President Donald Trump has said that Iranian leaders are afraid to admit that they are talking to the US. He said this at a 'fundraising dinner'. Trump has also denied the claim that Iranian leaders have rejected all kinds of 'deals' with the US and do not want to talk. Refuting the Iranian leaders' statement, he said, 'They are talking.'

Trump added, 'They (Iran) want to make a deal at any price. But they are afraid to say it. They think the Iranian people will kill them.'

Similarly, Trump said that they are also afraid that the US will kill them.

Earlier, there was talk that the US had sent a 15-point proposal for a ceasefire to Iran. However, Iran had put forward its own conditions for the agreement.

According to Iranian state television, Iran has rejected the US's

ceasefire proposal . The TV channel quoted a senior political-security official as saying that Iran wanted to end the war on its own terms.
