US media outlets have reported that the US has invaded Venezuela. US media outlets Fox News and CBS News have claimed that the US military has invaded Venezuela.

Earlier, several explosions were heard in the Venezuelan capital Caracas. Similarly, American media outlet CNN reported that smoke was seen in the sky. Power outages have occurred in many parts of the capital city.
Venezuela issued a statement on Saturday morning condemning the attack. Venezuela alleges that the attack targeted civilians and military bases in Miranda, Aragua and La Guerra, including the capital Caracas.
Venezuela alleges that the US did this out of its hunger for regime change. ‘The entire country needs to be active to defeat this imperialist attack,’ the government statement said. Similarly, Venezuela has demanded an immediate meeting of the United Nations Security Council.
