As the 47th President of the United States is confirmed, Republican candidate Donald Trump has said that it is a clear victory for the American people. Addressing his supporters in Palm Beach, Florida, he claimed that his upcoming tenure will be a "golden era" for America.
"This is a great victory for the American people, one that will allow us to make America great again," he said.
He said that he not only won the presidency but also won the popular vote of America. Although he did not officially receive the necessary Electoral College votes, he said that was a technicality.
Trump says that the results in his favor continue in various states and that he will get at least 315 electoral votes. 
'We have also maintained control over the Senate. It is very important and great," he said. During the
speech, he also called his wife Melania Trump on the stage and thanked her by calling her "the first lady". He hugged Melanie on stage.
While Trump was speaking, the supporters were chanting 'America, America'.
