Gujarat Titans became the first team to qualify for the playoffs after defeating Delhi Capitals by 10 wickets in Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket on Sunday after Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill opened the scoring.
With the performance of these two, Gujarat completed the target of 200 runs by scoring 205 runs in 19 overs. Sudarshan scored 108 off 61 balls and captain Gill remained unbeaten on 93 off 53 balls. Sudarshan hit 12 fours and 4 sixes and Gill hit 3 fours and 7 sixes.
Earlier, KL Rahul became the first player to score a century in the IPL from three different franchise teams. Earlier he also scored centuries for Punjab and Lucknow Super Giants. After he scored an unbeaten 112 off 65 balls, Delhi scored 199-3. He hit 14 fours and 4 sixes.

Punjab Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by 10 runs in the first match on Sunday. After Debrehate Nehal Wadhera scored 70 runs off 37 balls, Punjab won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 219-5 in Jaipur. After Shashank Singh scored an unbeaten 59, Punjab's score was tied.
