Kathmandu Gurkhaz have given a target of only 104 runs to Lumbini Lions in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket match on Wednesday. . After captain Karan KC won the toss at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Gurkhaz, who chose to bat, was bowled out for 103 runs in 19.3 overs.
Bhim Sarki scored the highest 31 runs from Gurkhaz. He played 40 balls and hit 1 boundary. Dan Douthwaite hit 2 sixes and scored 21 runs off 24 balls. Pratik Shrestha scored 20 runs in 14 balls with 2 sixes.
Ramon Simmonds bowled Michael Levitt in the first over and started the process of taking Gurkhaz's wicket. Stephan Eskinazi zero, Jehrard Erasmus 1, Sumit Maharjan 4, Rashid Khan and Karan KC 1 each and Sahav Alam got out for 8 runs.
