Kathmandu Gurkhaz invited Sudurpaschim Royals to bat first in the second match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Thursday. Gurkhaz captain Karan KC decided to bowl first after winning the toss at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

One change has been made in Gurkhaj's team. Pratik Shrestha has been played in place of Devrehate spinner Dipesh Kandel. Michael Levitt, Shankar Rana, Stephen Eskinazi, Bhim Sarki, Gerard Erasmus, Sumit Maharjan, Prateek Shrestha, Karan KC, Rashid Khan, Nathan Souter and Shahav Alam are playing from Gurkhaz.

Sudurpaschim has replaced Amit Shrestha with Naren Saud and Vasant Khatri with Rohan Mustafa. Sudurpaschim played only 3 foreign players in the first match against Pokhara Avengers when the flight of former UAE captain Mustafa was delayed.

: Vinod Bhandari, Ishan Pandey, Arif Shaikh, Saif Zaib, Brandon McMullen, Naresh Budhaair, Naren Saud, Scott Kugelen, Avinash Bohra are playing from Far West under the captaincy of Dipendra Singh Airi.

Sudurpaschim defeated Biratnagar Kings by 90 runs in the first match. Gurkhaz, who lost the first match against Chitwan Rise by 5 wickets, defeated Karnali Yaks by 3 wickets in the first match on Wednesday.
