The names of 8 franchise teams to play Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket have been announced. Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has selected 1 team from each province for the tournament to be held in Kathmandu from December 15 to December 6.
In case of Wagmati province, there will be two teams. There will be teams from Vagmati to Kathmandu and Chitwan. The other teams are Biratnagar, Janakpur, Pokhara, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim.
There was no team from Madhesh and Karnali region in the various franchise competitions held earlier.
