He has expressed his commitment to creating opportunities for the youth in the country, connecting local products to the market, and maintaining transparency in development plans.

With Dumre's victory, it has been analyzed that a new generation of leadership has emerged in Syangja-2. ‘I will move forward with the development of Syangja-2 as the center,’ he said, ‘My focus will be on employment creation, promotion of entrepreneurship, agricultural modernization, tourism development, corruption control and establishment of good governance.’ He is committed to connecting local products to the market, bringing in industry and investment, and maintaining transparency in development plans to make Syangja economically self-reliant.

Dumre of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) won for the first time in Syangja-2, which is considered a stronghold of the Congress. Earlier, former Congress vice-president Dhanraj Gurung was elected. Before Gurung, UML secretary Padma Aryal was elected in the 2074 election, defeating the former Congress vice-president.

Aryal was with the then Maoist Center. Aryal, who won the election with the support of the Maoists, lost to Gurung for the second time. In 2079, the Congress and the Maoists had an electoral alliance.
