The National Independent Party has finalized its five candidates to contest from Kathmandu.
The candidates for 5 out of 10 constituencies in Kathmandu have been finalized, informed the leaders involved in ticket distribution in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The RSSS is going to field Joint General Secretary Bipin Acharya from Kathmandu 2. In the 2079 elections, RSSS's Sobita Gautam won the election from this constituency.
Acharya is going to become a candidate after he left this constituency and filed his candidacy in Chitwan 3. Acharya was number 1 on the RSSS's proportional closed list for Khas Arya. He had withdrawn his name to become a direct candidate.
The RSSS's candidate in Kathmandu 6 is going to be Shishir Khanal. He was elected from here in the 2079 elections. Ganesh Parajuli is going to become a candidate in Kathmandu 7. The RSSS has given tickets to the same leader in the constituency he won earlier.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has decided to field Biraj Bhakta Shrestha as its candidate in Kathmandu 8. He had become a member of the House of Representatives from this constituency in the 2079 elections.
In Kathmandu 9, RSSS Vice President DP Aryal is set to be the candidate. He became an MP through proportional representation in the 2079 elections and is set to become a direct candidate this time.
