National Independent Party President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the party will achieve a miracle in the upcoming elections. At a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday, Lamichhane claimed that the party will achieve miraculous results in the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.
Chairman Lamichhane also said that the party should work together for the upcoming elections. ‘At this critical juncture in history, we should not disturb the country when it is writing a good history,’ he said, ‘Let’s meet at the ballot box. Let’s open the ballot. The ballot will determine the future of this country. We are ready to cast the ballot without getting confused in the ballot. We are really preparing to do magic this time.’
Lamichhane said that there should be no factions in the party. ‘We should get out of the era of talking about factions within the party. It is not the time to ask for the price of contribution. It is the time to contribute to the country. There will be no injustice against the newly joined friends, this is guaranteed,’ he said.
At a program organized to welcome the office bearers and Tharu activists of the Civil Liberation Party to the party, Lamichhane said that the leaders would be given appropriate responsibilities. He had called on them to join the party to change the situation in the country rather than targeting the elections.
