Today is the last day to submit the closed list of proportional candidates for the House of Representatives elections. A place has been designated at the Election Commission in Ramshahpath for parties to take oath. There are more than a dozen computers and printers, including materials, and employees are stationed there. Only after taking oaths, parties get their turn to submit the proportional list. According to the commission staff, the oaths will be taken until 12 midnight.

Leaders and cadres of small parties are scattered all over the square in small groups. The leaders and cadres sitting in such a way are submitting the names of the people included in the proportional list in the form mentioned in the voter list provided by the Election Commission.

They are sitting with the names of the candidates in their citizenship documents, voter numbers and party minutes. They are filling out various schedules and submitting them.

Nepali Congress leader Min Bishwakarma said that after taking the certificate, the process including property details, self-declaration and other processes have to be completed and that it is taking time to prepare the closed list of proportional candidates while forming clusters.

So far, the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Nepal Loktantrik Party, Rastriya Janamorcha, Janapriya Loktantrik Party and Nepal Communist Party Marxist (Pushpalal) have submitted the closed list, the Election Commission has stated. Similarly, the Dynamic Democratic Party and the Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal have also submitted the list.

NEPCI and Rastriya Janamorcha have submitted a list of 110 people, while Nepal Loktantrik Party (12), Janapriya Loktantrik Party (12) and Nepal Communist Party Marxist (Pushpalal) have submitted a list of 20 people to the commission. Gatishil Loktantrik (11) and JSP Nepal (101) have submitted a list of 100 people.

Congress, Resham Chaudhary's Nagarik Unmukti Party, Nepali Communist Party and others have already taken the oath. Parties including Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), UML, RPP and others are yet to take the oath.
