Seven parties have submitted their closed lists for the proportional representation (PR) elections scheduled for Falgun 21.
The Election Commission has stated that so far, the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Nepal Democratic Party, Rastriya Janamorcha, Janapriya Loktantrik Party and Nepali Communist Party Marxist (Pushpalal) have submitted their closed lists. Similarly, the Dynamic Democratic Party and the Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal have also submitted their lists.
NEMKIPA and Rastriya Janamorcha have submitted a list of 110 candidates, while the Nepal Democratic Party has submitted a list of 12, the Janapriya Loktantrik Party 12 and the Nepali Communist Party Marxist (Pushpalal) have submitted a list of 20 candidates to the Commission.
Dynamic Democratic Party has submitted a list of 11 and the JSP Nepal has submitted a list of 101 candidates.
Political parties are engaged in the final homework of preparing the closed list of candidates for the proportional representation for the House of Representatives elections. Although the Election Commission has set the deadline for submitting the closed list for Monday (today), most parties are making final preparations to submit it on the second day, today only.
