To remove the fear of Pitrodosh!

What you should know

It is no exaggeration to say that just as the seasons are classified, the festivals according to our religion and culture are also divided. As the month of July has arrived in our society, festivals, Tithi, and Shraddha have come, and for that, we have to make arrangements for Sarsaman, Duna-Tapari, and Dakshina.

These festivals have also added more expenses and debt to the people who are struggling to make ends meet. Even though it is for external appearance and to maintain the shame of the society, we celebrate major festivals like Dasain and Tihar and mid-sized festivals like Teej and Saune Monday. There is no reason to destroy during such festivals because it is our culture and if we don't follow it, there is a fear of being unfaithful or antisocial.

Especially the Hindu religion and culture believe that after the death of a person, the soul first reaches the Pitrulok. It is believed that after the death of a person, when he becomes a father and lives in his father's land, what has the living person done, whether he has made his father happy or not, whether he is doing his father's work carefully, and if it is not as he said, many calamities and sorrows will come in the life of the living person. The children of the living fathers of this world are still performing rituals according to the laws of the scriptures because of the fear that the father will give them pain. According to our culture, there is a tradition of remembering our deceased ancestors on the date of each year, in which they give the name of the Shraddha and make a donation, take it to the river and immerse it. It is believed that by doing this, the father will receive the food and the father will be happy.

Our religion-culture is also creating psychological fear in a way that we don't know. Remembering your deceased relatives and loved ones, lighting lamps as a sign of respect, donating donations, gathering relatives and remembering those lost relatives are positive and psychological aspects of our culture.

When it comes to fatherhood, it should be done very carefully, otherwise we can hear that the seven old ones cause pain in our own village-society. It can be seen in our society that even those relatives who were looked down upon, insulted, despised and neglected while alive, but after their death, they perform Shraddha Karma, Donation-Dakshina with great vigilance in our society. Again, according to Hindu scriptures, ancestors do not go to heaven all at once, they stay in Pitrloka for some time, then go to Suryaloka, and then they go to Swargaloka. The things mentioned in the scriptures created in the curiosity of this world have been deeply rooted in our hearts and until today we are moving forward with caution, with fear, with strain.

The common man has many struggles throughout his life. During the struggle, some people's lives improve, while some people's lives are affected by many family, health, financial and mental problems. Even among them, those who have a little more problem, they keep running from making vows to many gods and goddesses, calling it a game of fortune and fate, and even going to dhami, jhankri, and astrologers. These Dhamis, Jhankris and astrologers also tell the causes of the problem by looking at the hand and by looking at the face by measuring the real psychology of the person in trouble and the degree of his superstition. Most of the people who are suffering from problems are given answers such as planetary position is disturbed, Saturn has gone to Mars, Pidrosha is present, Pitra is not eating properly. Not only this, now they also tell you how to get rid of Pitridosh or Grahadasha. To do this puja this time, to do Shanti Swasti, to chant such and such deity, to light a lakh of lamps, etc., etc.

When the watcher says that people should escape obstacles, hardships and pains in their daily life due to Pidro Dosh in Kundali, then we wonder when we will get rid of it. Delay in marriage, rift in post-marriage relationship, not getting work on time, not making good progress in business, job, work getting worse, family member falling into poverty, having children with disabilities, having angry and proud children are said to be problems created due to paternal defects. In the case of the untimely or untimely death of an ancestor or ancestor in our family, if the last rites are not performed according to the law of the deceased person, or if any of the vows or wishes made by him while he was alive could not be fulfilled, then our scriptures believe that the soul of such a deceased person will wander to his previous residence or descendants. On the basis of these beliefs, instead of living together, discussing, loving and trusting each other and helping each other for the rest of our lives, we go to various astrologers, Dhami, Jankri Mata, Baba, Pandits to solve our family or personal problems because of the suffering caused by the supposedly dead soul. Many people with health problems can be seen in our villages even if they have health problems and if they do not get better even after treatment, they leave the treatment and go to Dhamijankri. Our psychology is guided by these beliefs. We don't have as much faith and fear in living personalities as we do in dead souls or ancestors.

Every year on the day of Bhadra Shukla Purnima, Shraddha is performed on Purnima Tithi and then till Ashwin Krishna Paksha, Shraddha is performed according to date for 15 days, so it is called sixteen Shraddha. It is a religious custom to perform this Shraddha to please the ancestors and to seek forgiveness if the ancestors have been disrespected knowingly or unknowingly. Now, along with all these customs, let us return to our practical life with a heartfelt remembrance of our dead ancestors. From the lower class to the middle class family and the society itself, you have to work according to your group in order to survive.

Not everyone in the family is healthy, everyone's physical abilities and structure are different. Physical, mental, economic, social conditions, ancestral property, earnings determine how life is going to be. In the course of human development, we have reached the present day through the mysterious imagination of people about the past and future, social policy rules, and religious laws. World societies have different understandings and values in social development. Let's remember the fathers as a form of respect, but let's discuss trust and faith and problem solving among the living.

If we look for the root of the many crises faced by ourselves and our families from within the living people, and if we try and discuss with the family, if we raise our voice when there is a problem with the state, if we take the help of the relevant sector, would there be a long-term solution to the problem? Otherwise, the 'fear' of dead ancestors will lead us to the same fateful path and the habit of not looking for the concrete cause of the problem will continue.
