Former Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel's remand extended for five days for the fourth time

The court has granted permission to keep former Finance Minister and UML Vice-Chairman Bishnu Poudel in custody for another 5 days. 

The special court granted such permission to the Money Laundering Investigation Department on Wednesday. The accused Poudel, who was arrested during the investigation of a money laundering case, was presented for an extension of time by the Money Laundering Investigation Department for investigation purposes and his remand was extended for the fourth time on Wednesday.

The extension was granted by the bench of court judges  Narayan Prasad Poudel and Bidur Koirala. Poudel has been sent to judicial custody as per the order.
