According to the court, the writ petition filed by Prem Silwal has been registered. Its first hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

The commission had recommended to freeze the passports of five people, including former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, to investigate the suppression of the Gen-G movement. In addition to former Prime Minister Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, the commission had recommended to freeze the passports of former Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, former National Investigation Chief Hutraj Thapa, and former Kathmandu CDO Chhabi Rijal.
