Nepali Ambassador to Israel Dhan Prasad Pandit has said that he has received official information that Bipin Joshi's name is not in the list of 20 people to be released by Hamas.
He informed that the multinational forces are searching inside the tunnels of Hamas in the Gaza Strip of Joshi, but the situation is unknown so far.
'At 7:30 in the morning Israel received a call from the Israeli army . He said that Bipin's body has not been recovered and the multinational forces are searching inside the tunnel. Since then, Israel has not given the latest update. Bipin Joshi was taken hostage by Hamas on 7 October 2023 .
Bipin's brother Kishore Joshi, who participated in that meeting, said that they were hopeful that Bipin would be alive until all the hostages were released. Talked with the Israeli side in the morning. They informed that 20 people were not included in the list of survivors. But until all hostages are released . Until then, we are living in hope," he said.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not given any official information on the situation of Bipin.
