The commission of inquiry regarding the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24 has made it clear that anyone involved in criminal offenses should not wait for the report of the commission to investigate and take immediate action.

Vigyan Raj Sharma, a member of the commission, published a statement on Tuesday and said that those involved in the incident can be investigated and prosecuted by government mechanisms.  The Commission has also drawn attention to the statement issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on October 9, contrary to the order received from

. "As this commission has a mandate to receive and analyze information or petitions related to physical and human damage and to give necessary opinions regarding action, after receiving reports with opinions from the commission in accordance with that mandate, the attention of the commission has been drawn to the statement issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 2082/06/09 that the government of Nepal will act in accordance with the law," the statement said. 

Ministry of Home Affairs issued a statement on October 9 and said that action should be taken only after the report of the Commission of Inquiry and immediate arrest and other legal action and no arrest. The Chairman of the Commission, Gauri Bahadur Karki, while talking to Kantipur on Monday, said that the investigation of the incidents involving criminal law on August 23 and 24 will not go through the regular legal process as a obstacle.
