Vehicular movement has been started since Thursday night after the landslide that occurred near Tuin river on Narayangadh-Muglin road has cleared. According to the road division Bharatpur, the traffic movement came to a standstill with the landslide on Tuesday afternoon.
Engineer Krishna Acharya, Information Officer of the Divisional Road Office, has informed that two cars started driving on the Narayangadh Muglin road from 11 o'clock at night.

According to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Infrastructure, work is being done on both sides of the landslide near the Tuin River on the Muglin-Narayangadh road section. According to the ministry, now 1 excavator from Narayangarh, 1 Landslide removal is being done by using 2 loaders and 1 excavator from the side of loader and Muglin.
According to the ministry, 1/1 back loaders are deployed on both sides. Due to the narrowness of the working area, only 5 devices can work from both sides at one time, the ministry said. The ministry said that 60 percent of the landslides have been removed so far.
Physical Infrastructure Minister Kulman Ghising said in a press conference organized by the ministry on Friday that work is underway to remove the landslide of the Tuin River by night.
He said that all possible equipment has been mobilized to remove the landslide and said, 'If it doesn't rain tonight, the road will be opened by night.' He said that there is no problem on other highways exiting Kathmandu and also requested to use alternative route.
The Baglung-Balewa-Kushmisera road, which was blocked by a landslide, has been put into operation after three months. The road, which was blocked after the road was washed away due to rain, has been operational since Wednesday. About 100 meters of the road was swept away when a landslide occurred in Baglung Municipality-10 Dablyang. According to him, the east-west highway in Nawalparasi, Kaligandaki corridor in Baglung, Trishuli-Meilung road in Rasuwa are operating in one way.
The Narayangadh-Muglin road was blocked due to landslides, but there is no obstruction on the other BP highway to eastern Nepal. Leaving the valley on Dasain Prabhat Kumar Jha, spokesperson of the road department, said that although the traffic is high, the highway is not blocked.
This highway, damaged by last year's flood, has not yet been built. But during Dasain, more than 10,000 vehicles pass through this road every day.
