Laxman Paswan was arrested on Wednesday morning on the charge of killing 30-year-old Ruby Sah of Madhavnarayan-6 Madhopur in Rautahat. It has been revealed that all the three Lakshmans were arrested for kidnapping Ruby 14 years ago.
According to the police, it has been revealed that he was detained for 17 days in the case of kidnapping and physical hostage, human trafficking. Laxman took Ruby to India at the age of 14. After that, Ruby's family filed a kidnapping case against 3 people including Laxman.
Madhavnarayan-6 Madhopur Ruby went missing on the evening of 24th January 2068. When the family members searched, they were not found. After learning that even the neighbor Lakshman Paswan had left the house, the attention was focused there .
The next day, Ruby's family filed a complaint against Gaurma Laxman, his uncle Baijnath Hazra and cousin Khajanchi Paswan at the district police office for kidnapping, body hostage, and human trafficking. The family alleged that Lakshman kidnapped Ruby and kept her in Chandigarh, India. Both of them went to Sarlahi district court after some time after staying in India and registered their marriage by creating fake documents on 15th July 2069. Then Lakshman was arrested when he came to Rautahat. At that time, Ruby's age was only 14 years old, mother Mithless Devi said .
After the police arrested Laxman, Ruby was handed over to the family . After spending 17 days in police custody, Lakshman was released from the court after paying 15,000 bail. At that time, uncle and cousin were absconding. While the case is going on in court Ruby got married to Shivsagar Saha of Roxatol in Muzaffarpur, India. Ruby has a 4-year-old son .
Shrestedar deputy secretary of the court Keshar Aryal informed that Laxman, who had been tried for almost 2 years, was acquitted on 25th November 2071 by the then judge Radhakrishna Upreti. After being acquitted by the court, Paswan went to Malaysia for foreign employment two years ago. Just a week and a half before Ruby was killed, Laxman had come from Malaysia and was camping in Gaur. The police say that he might have planned to kill Ruby recently.

Last Saturday night, Paswan killed Ruby and left her in a suitcase near Mudbalwa gate of Gaur-Sirsia section. While searching for him DSP Raju Karki of the District Police Office said that the body was set on fire in Madhopur on Wednesday morning. Laxman's face and body were burnt while trying to commit suicide. According to the police, Laxman is able to speak. Now Burn Hospital in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. He is being treated .
Paswan made a 9-minute video before setting himself on fire. In the video, he shows his hand shaking since he killed Ruby said .
Accepting Ruby's murder, he said, 'My soul is dead.' What will I do if I live? If caught, he should go to jail. Must serve 10/15 years of punishment . I am ready to be punished.' Lakshman has said that he has been deeply in love with Ruby since his school days.
