A meeting has started at the National Examination Board in Sanothimi regarding the publication of Class 12 results.A member who participated in the meeting said that the results will be announced shortly. 5 lakh 11 thousand examinees participated in the Class 12 exam conducted across the country last May. There are 395,000 regular and 115,000 partial candidates. 1 thousand 591 examination centers were assigned to 5 thousand 2 hundred 2 school students to give class 12 exam. Out of which 38 students from Everest School in Japan also participated in the exam. Out of 77 districts, only 45 people from Manang and 68 thousand from Kathmandu took the exam. The examination was conducted in 1/1 centers in Manang/Mustang and 162 centers in Kathmandu.
With the educational strike of the Nepal Teachers' Federation, the Kathmandu-centered street movement pushed the scheduled exam back by 10 days from Baisakh 11.
