The National Examination Board is making final preparations to publish the Class 12 results. Member Secretary of the Board Jang Bahadur Aryal said that work is underway to publish the results today/tomorrow.

511,000 students participated in the Class 12 exam conducted across the country last May. There are 3,95,000 regular and 1,15,000 partial candidates. 1,591 examination centers were assigned to give class 12 exams to 5,202 school students. Out of which 38 students from Everest School in Japan also participated in the exam. Out of 77 districts, only 45 people from Manang and 68 thousand from Kathmandu gave the exam. The examination was conducted in 1/1 centers in Manang/Mustang and 162 centers in Kathmandu.
With the educational strike of the Nepal Teachers' Federation, the Kathmandu-centered street movement pushed the scheduled exam back by 10 days from Baisakh 11. After the exam was over on May 2, the work of answering book examination and other work started. Letter Grading Guideline 2078 has arranged that students who do not get at least 35 percent marks in theory will not be graded in the publication of the results. Last year, 52 percent of students passed the grading in class 12.
