Nepali Congress Member of Parliament Rama Koirala Paudyal stressed that the budget should be allocated to address the water shortage in Madhes.

'It is not enough to declare a drought-affected area. The people there do not have drinking water. Arrangements should be made for drinking water and irrigation,' she said.
