The meeting of the Council of Ministers has started at Baluwatar, the residence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The meeting of the Council of Ministers started after 7:30 pm on Monday.

Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta, who discussed the bribe with the middleman, is also participating in the meeting. He was informed by the Prime Minister's Secretariat that Prime Minister Oli called Baluwatar on Monday morning and inquired about the bribery dialogue.

Minister Gupta's bribe dialogue will also be discussed in the cabinet meeting, a minister has informed.

The Prime Minister's Secretariat has informed that Oli has instructed Minister Gupta to keep a clear topic about the bribe dialogue. However, the Prime Minister has not dismissed Minister Gupta even after three days of the audio of his bribe conversation being released.

A 9 minute and 13 second audio of a conversation between Minister Gupta, a middle man and a woman was made public. In the audio, the middleman is heard asking Minister Gupta to call Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari to appoint Khem Bahadur Pun as the Chairman of Land Commission Kaski.
