The severe flood that occurred in Bhotekoshi on Tuesday morning swept away the Miteri bridge connecting Nepal and China at the Rasuwagadhi crossing. Similarly, the new electric vehicles (EVs) in the dry port were also swept away by the flood.

Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Arjun Paudel informed Ikantipur that the flood has caused great damage. He said, "The flood from China has caused great damage." Miteri bridge has washed away . The EVs in the dryport have also been washed away.' He said that the people trapped in the flood have been rescued recently. He said, 'some security personnel who went for rescue were also trapped. They have been rescued.'

He also said that the locals of the lower belt have been asked to move to a safe place. He said, 'It is suspected that some people are in the car. Not confirmed though . It is suspected that the people in the car were swept away by the flood.' Chief District Officer Paudel says that although the damage is huge, the data is yet to come. He also said that an army helicopter has been called for rescue. He says that the arrival of the helicopter was delayed because the weather did not cooperate.
