President Ramchandra Paudel has presented the government's policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2082/83 in the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament. He read the policy and program at the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly held at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwar.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed over a copy of the policy and program address to President Paudel. According to Article 95 of the Constitution, there is provision for the President to address the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
