Floods and landslides have caused damage in Humla after Thursday morning rains . Humla chief district officer Narayan Pandey informed about the rain damage in Adanchuli Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 and 3. In a conversation with Kantipur, Chief District Officer Pandey said, 'It rained a little heavily in Adanchuli-2 and 3 this morning . Preliminary information has come that some houses have also been damaged. The work of collecting details of the damage is underway.'

Janakpur High Court acquitted Ram Bahadur Bamjan, who was found guilty by the district court of child sexual abuse , saying that he could not walk because of the statute of limitations. District Court Sarlahi on June 17 last year decided that Bamjan will be sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of 500,000 for sexually abusing 10 children.
