10 and a half billion remittances in eight months, average price increase of 3.75 percent, energy minister Khadka's statement that there will be no more load shedding to the Hong Kong series: Nepal winning by eight wickets over Qatar were in the news today.

In the eight months of the current financial year (July to February), 10 trillion 51 billion 77 crore rupees have entered the country through remittance  . It is mentioned in the monthly report of Nepal Rastra Bank that this is an increase of 9.4 percent compared to the same period of the last financial year. Similarly, Nepal Rastra Bank said that the average price increase rate was 3.75 percent last February. In the same month last year, the price increase was 4.82 percent.

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka said that there will be no more load shedding  . Minister Khadka said that there will be load shedding in the evening on March 6th in the National Assembly, but in a program on Wednesday, he said that there will be no more load shedding. While inaugurating the 978 megawatt Sanjenkhola hydropower project in Rasuwa today, Minister Khadka said that citizens will no longer have to face the problem of load shedding.

Nepal has defeated Qatar by 8 wickets in the first match of the T-20I series that started today in Hong Kong  . Batting first, Nepal completed the target of 152 runs given by Qatar in 17 overs with the loss of only two wickets.
