The government has registered a bill related to social media in the parliament with the provision that any company, firm or organization that wants to operate any social media platform in Nepal must obtain a mandatory license.   In the 'Bill to regulate the operation, use and regulation of social networks', which was submitted for registration in the National Assembly on Monday, the condition of being able to run the platform only with a license has been proposed.  000

The district court of Kathmandu has issued an order to stop the performance of the movie 'Actor: Take One', which is going to be shown from Wednesday  . Diaspara Entertainment Pvt Ltd filed a case against the Film Development Board and two film producers for stealing the name and story of the film. "The court has ordered that the film should not be screened until the discussion is concluded," the court order said.
