Ravi Lamichhane, President of the People's Democratic Party of Nepal, has responded that justice is not dead in Nepal. Lamichhane said that after he was released on bail from the Kathmandu District Court on Wednesday in the case of co-operative fraud and other cases, he helped the justice process.

The bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari ordered Lamichhane to be released on a bond of 60 million rupees. According to the order, Lamichhane reacted after he was released after submitting a bank guarantee for bail in the Kathmandu District Court.

'I said that I came to help the justice process, I want to express my utmost respect to the court,' Lamichhane said, 'I want to thank the justice-loving people . I want to give special thanks to the court, justice is not dead in this country.'

The Kathmandu District Court had ordered Lamichhane to be released on bail in the case of misappropriating the savings of Swarnalakshmi Cooperative located in Kathmandu Kalimati. Lamichhane, who appeared in court last Sunday, had a statement and a custody debate.
