Public Accounts Committee Chairman Rishikesh Pokharel's personal secretary and UML Morang District Committee member Anil Kumar Pokharel has been issued a warrant by the Biratnagar High Court to investigate the fraud case. The High Court has issued a mandate in the name of District Police Office Morang to register a complaint against Pokharel, who succeeded in preventing the police from registering a complaint of fraud under the guise of political power.

A question has been raised in the State Order and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives regarding Shera Darbar located in Vidur Municipality-2 of Nuwakot and the land it is discussing. In the meeting of the committee on Thursday, the MPs questioned the Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar regarding the dispute over the said land. They have also demanded an investigation into Shera Durbar land and other cases of land irregularities.
