Chairman of CPN Samajwadi Party and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has said that the state followed the then king 'Gyanendrapath' by arresting Kailash Sirohia, chairman of Kantipur Media Group.
Commenting on social network X, he objected saying that the arrest of President Sirohia does not look good.
'For whatever reason, it was not good for the government to dramatically arrest Kailash Sirohia, the president of Kantipur Publishing House,' he said. When the Kantipur workers were arrested in this way, we, including our then Supreme Commander Prachanda, strongly opposed it .
