Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that microfinance financial institutions that are operating against the law will be investigated and brought under the scope of action.

Responding to the questions raised in Parliament on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal said that microfinance financial institutions that act contrary to the existing laws and the instructions given by Nepal Rastra Bank will be investigated and brought under the scope of action.  Prime Minister Dahal has informed that the work is being done to withdraw the fees related to the accounts that exceed the prescribed fees.

'The instructions given to refund the service fee taken in excess of the specified amount and deposit it in the respective borrower's account are being implemented,' Prime Minister Dahal said, 'A separate desk has been arranged in the microfinance institution supervision department for hearing complaints and resolving them.'

In the same way, Prime Minister Dahal said that to facilitate the payment of dairy farmers, the government, related industrialists-businessmen and farmers' organizations negotiated between them and agreed that the arrears owed by the farmers till the end of January will be paid by 21st of Chaitra and other regular payments will continue.

Prime Minister Dahal  He informed that the executive committee of Lumbini Development Fund has implemented the instructions given by the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives regarding the land lease of Ramgram in Kapilvastu.
