A young man has gone missing after being swept away by Soni river in Mahottari. 16-year-old Rohit Sah and 11-year-old Kareena Mahato were swept away by the river when they went to watch the flood in the Soni River at Gaushala-8 Kushmadi.
Mahottari Police Spokesperson and DSP Santalal Prasad Jaiswal informed that Kareena was immediately rescued from a well by the river by the police and locals.
Mahottari police said that the search for missing Rohit is underway.
