Former Miss World and Hollywood and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has expressed her grief over the death of Nepali actor Sunil Thapa and paid tribute through social media.

In a status on her Facebook page, she recalled the moments she spent with Thapa during the shooting of the biopic of Indian boxer Mary Kom 'Mary Kom' and the support she received during difficult times. In the film, Thapa played the role of Chopra's 'guru' . The film, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was directed by Umang Kumar.

Priyanka wrote, 'Sir, you will always be my coach. You supported me when I lost my father. You unknowingly gave me love and support during many difficult days.'

She further wrote, 'Your warm hugs and laughter will always be in my memory. We lost you too soon, but we will never forget you. Thank you for the love and support you showed me when I was broken. May your soul rest in peace.'

Priyanka has expressed her condolences to Thapa's family and loved ones and prayed for the eternal peace of their souls.

 

 

Thapa was taken to Norvik Hospital after fainting in his own apartment in Shankhamul on Saturday morning. He died during treatment at the hospital.
