Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, said that workers are not getting proper wages due to low productivity.
'Productivity is low now . Addressing the Fifth National Labor and Employment Conference that started in Kathmandu on Monday, Chairman Dhakal said, "The private sector is the main generator of employment. Employment is created only if there is an environment to increase industry business. Only then can wages be given as expected.'
He said that all parties should stand together to create jobs, build infrastructure, increase revenue and give fair wages. Employment opportunities were created only when the private sector could work confidently. The traditional law was not able to create an investment-friendly environment . This law change has encouraged the private sector. Now according to the new law, regulations and procedures should be changed," he said.
He needs to invest the money deposited in the social security fund in a safe way to create jobs.
