Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said that since the implementation of federalism in the country has already advanced, it is not possible to find an alternative to it.
Speaking at the last session of the 'Gantavya Gandaki' program organized by Kantipur Media Group in Pokhara on Wednesday, Finance Minister Paudel said that federalism is not a burden but an opportunity.
'Federalism is not a burden but a responsibility . We have achieved many important achievements in the implementation of federalism. Federalism has yet to be made more effective. However, in order to fully implement it, a lot of work will have to be done to make federalism effective,'' he said.
He said that federalism was implemented to bring the rights of Sihandarbar to the villages and therefore no alternative to federalism could be found.
