Anjan Shrestha, Acting President of the Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has said that instead of increasing the domestic production, the government is working to avert the crisis by taking internal loans.

Shrestha, who was the speaker of the first session of the program 'Kantipur Chitwan Chintan: Search for Chitwan's strengths, possibilities, problems and solutions', organized by Kantipur Media Group on Thursday, made the statement.

"Last time, the state did the job of averting the drought by taking internal debt rather than internal production," he said, "The government has set the target of economic growth by expecting 6 percent". But it seems that the preparations of the government have not been reached.

He said that every year the current expenditure of the government is increasing and the capital expenditure is decreasing, which is causing problems.
