The government has set five priorities for the budget of the financial year 2081/082. Presenting the budget for the financial year 2081/082 at the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Barshman Pun said that 5 priorities of the budget have been decided.
He informed that the 5 priorities of the budget are economic reform, promotion of private sector, agriculture, energy, information technology, tourism, industrial development and infrastructure construction. Likewise, the development of social sectors including education, health has also been prioritized in the budget. Similarly, Finance Minister Pun says that improving inclusion and social security and promoting good governance and public service delivery is a priority of the budget.
Similarly, Finance Minister Pun has said that the economy of the country is improving due to the continuous efforts of the government. He said that the next financial year has been declared as the year of economic reform to fulfill the national aspiration of 'happy Nepali, prosperous Nepal'.
