Luo Zhaohui, head of China International Development Corporation Agency (CIDCA), said that he will encourage Chinese investors to invest in Nepal.
Speaking at the opening session of the Third International Investment Conference, Luo said, "There is a need for investment for development in Nepal in the current geopolitical challenges." He mentioned that Nepal is a beautiful country and clarified that China is ready for development and cooperation.
He also said that President Xi Jinping visited Nepal in October 2019, and on that occasion, there was cooperation between Himalaya Warpar Connectivity. He said that China is ready to work hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder with the Nepalese. He also mentioned that it will strengthen the relationship between China and Nepal.
Speaking before that, the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chhan Song said that the relationship between Nepal and China has existed since history. He said, "China has supported Nepal in the economic and social fields." He also said that Nepal is about to start a new journey in the field of economy and development.
