Why do Dalits need a religion to uplift them?

Are the police, administration, attorney general's office, dalit commission, human rights commission and court ready to send these discriminators to jail? Do they have that courage?

Why do Dalits need a religion to uplift them?

While turning the pages of the Kantipur daily one morning, the main news headline that caught my eye was, 'Wake up with a dozer in a Dalit's house to perform Maha Yajna'. What will be the state of mind of people after reading such news in the morning?

I also posted on social media with the news, 'We are forced to read such very sad news in the morning . How did you feel after reading this? How's your mood? What kind of society, what kind of country do you think you are a citizen of? What would we do if this house were mine? Can such extreme atrocities also be a religion ? Do you believe in a religion that destroys the lives of people who commit such atrocities, oppression, and exploitation? Come and meditate.'

I was preparing a working paper for the International Day for the Elimination of Caste Discrimination 'March 21' which is celebrated with enthusiasm by the common Dalit community . However, ever since I read this news, my mind was very troubled. Many questions arose. The constitution and laws prohibit untouchability. It took two decades since Nepal was declared untouchable.

We are celebrating the 60th International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, but you are an untouchable lice . Instead, it is becoming more serious in a new form, that too with the involvement of state officials. The step of demolishing this house was also the height of that . The joys and sorrows of life, the ups and downs of the heart, the stops, the quarters are home. All that a man has is his house. After demolishing that house, how would the Dalit family be affected?

What will happen if someone destroys the house of Shivji Yadav and Vajrangi Baba? Why is the Dalit community, who have always called themselves Hindus, always discriminated against them in the name of religion? Why are they not accepted? Is this step not a high caste arrogance based on the Hindu varna, caste system ? Many such questions that arose in my mind made me unable to sit without preparing this article . This article will discuss critically about Hinduism and the role of public representatives.

The district where the Dalit community is densely settled and the most incidents of discrimination against Dalits is Sirha. This incident also happened in another rural municipality-5 of this district . In order to perform Vishnu Mahayagna at this place, on the order of Bajrangi Baba, village chairman Shivji Yadav sent a bulldozer and destroyed the house of local Deepak Malik.

Dalits' houses were not only destroyed because they should not be kept at the place where the Maha Yajna is held, but the soil was also thrown away by digging two feet because it was impure for Dalits to touch. Trying to perform great sacrifices to earn merit by doing religious work and upsetting a poor, innocent and vulnerable Dalit family? What religion is this? Who is this religion for? Why did the Dalit community want to bring their religion like this?

Do Dalits have an option to leave Hinduism?

What is religion? Why believe in religion? What happens if you don't believe in religion? What is called religion in Nepal and what is the faith of people towards religion? Does a person have the freedom to follow his own religion or not? How do people view religion in the world? If you want to answer such a serious and sensitive question, one topic comes to mind. It is necessary to have a serious debate about the religion that makes human life hell.  To say

, people say that religion is made to discipline people, to walk on the right path, to improve and progress people, and to protect them from committing sins. It is said that religion was formed for the protection of people by connecting with God. If religion has such a sacred purpose, then why does Hinduism always uplift only the Dalits? Why is Hinduism making the life of Dalit hellish? Analyzing the overall trend of discrimination, injustice and atrocities committed by the majority of Hindus against the Dalit community in the name of religion, it can be concluded that Hinduism is not made for Dalits.

The Dalit community has been experiencing the most discrimination in the Math Temple. Entry is still prohibited in most of the temples. Also, the origin and development of Hinduism is connected with discrimination, exclusion and inequality. The root of today's differences is the varna system of four varnas such as Brahmins, Kshetris, Vaishyas and Shudras, which began with the tenth mandala of the Rigveda. It was transformed into caste system through Upanishads, Puranas and Smriti, and it was legally institutionalized by Jung Bahadur Rana through the Civil Act of 1910.

It pushed the Nepali society into darkness and backwardness for eternity . Today's world has reached by leaps and bounds in information, technology and science, Nepali society is still clinging to this caste and caste system. If the Nepali society was based on knowledge, science and consciousness, Dalits would not have to suffer discrimination like this.

The main source of discrimination against women and Dalits is the Hindu caste and caste system. If four varnas had not been imagined in the tenth mandala of the Rigveda, there would not have been such a hierarchical division and differentiation in the society. Now women are not allowed to perform puja in the temple for 48 days . They are untouchable. Dalits are not allowed to pray for 365 days. They have been experiencing discrimination at every step, every step of the year.

Math temple, Dhara, Bhojbhater, birth, marriage and death rites have been discriminated under the guise of religion. In this way, there is something that must be accepted and embraced in a religion that makes human life hellish. Is it possible to boycott or abandon Hinduism and become a materialist forever?

In the name of religion, if one person continues to enjoy heaven and another person continues to suffer extreme discrimination, oppression, oppression, and exploitation, then that religion is irrelevant and discarded. How long will Dalits continue to bear the burden of discrimination, exploitation and oppression imposed by religion for thousands of years? How long will the hellish life last? Everything has a limit . When the bond of patience is broken, when the door of consciousness opens and the passion for human dignity increases, then there is a revolution, there is a struggle . Dalits are now at this stage. Therefore, it is necessary for the Dalit community to abandon Hinduism and move towards a cultural revolution.

Ambedkar devoted his life to the study and analysis of Hindu scriptures. He discovered that the root of caste is the Hindu varna system. He struggled throughout his life to end the discrimination within Hinduism. But he didn't work hard with Hindu fanatics, discriminators, conservatives . The Hindus were not really prepared. They are not ready to end the discrimination.

After this, Ambedkar concluded that Dalit liberation is not possible by staying in Hinduism . And he abandoned Hinduism forever and embraced Buddhism. Why can't the Dalits of Nepal get education from the conclusions drawn by Ambedkar about a hundred years ago?

Where are those who make Dalits sit in Pashupati Kotihome with great fanfare now? What does Krishna Damai, who said that there is no discrimination in religion, that he reached heaven by speaking the language of non-Dalits, what does he say about this incident? What do Mitra Pariyar and Karna Vishwakarma, who are trying to improve Hinduism, say? Does the religious community have eyes to see such atrocities on Dalits? Do you have the awareness to give justice to Dalits? Or there is only a tendency to oppress Dalits no matter what they do? If discrimination and oppression continue, nothing in Hinduism can stop Dalits.

discriminating public representatives boycott  why not?

In the recent times, state officials are most involved in or protecting incidents of caste discrimination and untouchability. Ministers, parliamentarians, people's representatives, employees, police are all discriminating against the Dalit community. Shivji Yadav, president of Aurhi Rural Municipality of Siraha, is standing in the last wave. This is an extreme example of state-protected discrimination. No matter how much you criticize such people's representatives who discriminate, oppress and dance naked against Dalits while sitting in an important body of the state, it is less.

The president doesn't even have a general knowledge of the constitution and the law ? If yes, then why did the constitution and law prohibit discrimination? If they are religious people, why are they ready to discriminate? To be elected by the votes of the Dalit community and brutally oppress those Dalits? Torturing ? Who gave him the right to destroy the house of an innocent Dalit family under the guise of religion? Is he above the constitution and the law? No matter how much you condemn his actions, it will be less . A person like him or a public representative has no justification on this earth . He should be boycotted by the general Dalit community and advocates of change and justice in addition to taking strict legal action.

The local government can formulate specific laws and policies and create an action plan for their implementation. It is necessary to take the responsibility of increasing the awareness of ordinary citizens through education, strict legal action against those involved in racist acts and effective treatment and compensation for the victims, effective investigation and management of fragmented data. The local government should also work to prevent discrimination, hate speech and incitement on digital platforms, dismantle discriminatory policies, structures and institutions and provide equal opportunities to all through the effective implementation of the constitution, and create an environment of equal access. What will be the condition of the Dalit community after the chairman of the rural municipality, who has the responsibility of doing such a big job, has moved forward to discriminate against the Dalit community under the guise of religion? What do the Dalit community expect from the state? Actually this is a very serious matter .

The tendency of the parties to protect party leaders and workers who commit caste discrimination instead of taking strict action has increased the tendency of party leaders and workers and people's representatives to be involved in such activities . In such an environment, the party involved should take immediate action . As he has demolished the house of a Dalit family, he should be sent to the cold corner of the jail in the case of the Untouchability Act and serious crimes against humanity.

discriminators note what happens when touching . Are the police, administration, attorney general's office, dalit commission, human rights commission and court ready to send these discriminators to jail? Do they have that guts ? Or do they also support the Hindu caste and caste system as a slave or remain silent?

at the end

People who believe in Hinduism, have faith in religion and are involved in religious activities are carrying the poison of caste and caste system in their minds and they attack the poor, marginalized, women and Dalits under the cover of religion. Therefore, the common Dalit community's distance from Hinduism can be the most effective way of salvation. However, Nepal's Dalit movement has not been able to prepare a clear approach to view and analyze religion.

Dalits involved in the Communist Party are in the maze of religion or materialism, while those who join other parties are deeply immersed in religion. Since Hindu religion has been discriminating against Dalits for centuries, it is necessary to prepare a view of religion with a world view of Dalit liberation . Dalits have to adopt the path of not following any religion. If there is no religion, then we should go in the direction of building a new religion and culture that is humanistic, egalitarian, just, and human rights friendly.  Even if the

does not come out, a large number of people's representatives, educated and initiated by the caste and caste system, are extremely hostile towards the Dalit community and are in favor of continuing the discrimination in one way or another. How can a society without discrimination become a discrimination-free society if the people's representatives who are contracted to formulate policies, implement them, monitor and evaluate and in essence bring about changes in the country and people's living standards support discrimination? How is the constitution and laws followed? Therefore, now we have to decide that the party leaders or people's representatives who discriminate will be subject to strict legal action and public boycott. Also fighting for the complete end of caste and caste system.
