This district is known as a confluence of caste, language, religion and culture of all 77 districts. Even before this, it was also known as the 76th district out of 75 districts.

The plan and desire of the provincial government is to give priority to production and employment through the development and expansion of industry.  I would like to inform you that the province is preparing to introduce its own separate industrial and commercial policy to promote internal and external trade while increasing industrial production and productivity. Without the establishment, development and expansion of industry and factories, there is no possibility of production and employment. It is necessary to attract investment for the establishment of industries. Therefore, the provincial government has decided to establish a provincial investment board to increase domestic and foreign investment within the province and create a suitable environment for business operations. Stopping the tendency of young people to go abroad in search of

opportunities is a big challenge today. The provincial government is serious about tackling this kind of challenge. Showing the lack of opportunities in the country, the provincial government is trying to stop young people from going abroad after completing secondary education and to provide employment opportunities in the country. We are helping to turn the skills and talents of young students into entrepreneurship by collaborating with educational institutions and industrial and commercial sectors. Not only this, there is a big complaint that our education is not linked to skills, not linked to employment and not linked to production. In order to address this complaint to some extent, we have created an opportunity for students to learn skills by going to the industry through the industrial trainee program through collaboration between educational institutions and industry.   

Nepali products are not being consumed and cannot be exported, so domestic products have not been able to find a market Due to which it is becoming difficult for Nepali basic industries to run . We are attracted to foreign products and brands. With the aim of developing the culture of using our original and indigenous products, we are arranging the use of indigenous products in the state government offices. 

Even today Rasuwa water is exported abroad. Natural drinking water processing industries in the Himalayas of Dhading, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok and Dolakha districts of Wagmati province can be operated and exported to the international market, it will contribute greatly to the economy of the province. The attention of the provincial government has also been attracted towards this. 

Chitwan district is a district with good income potential through agricultural production and tourism promotion. The provincial government has been serious about unleashing the potential of this district. The government of Bagmati province is committed to support planned development by studying and researching all kinds of possibilities. 

The basis of production and prosperity of all 13 districts of Wagmati province including Chitwan is the agricultural sector. Therefore, emphasis on modernization, commercialization and marketing of agricultural produce in agriculture is the need of today . We are dependent on traditional agricultural occupations. Subsistence agriculture has not been able to leave money. In terms of economic activity, agriculture is the main source of income for about 50 percent of the population. Despite this, we have not been able to become self-sufficient in agriculture. Cultivated lands are being converted into forest areas . To solve this problem, commercialization, modernization and industrialization of agriculture, making the soul dependent on agricultural products, replacing imports and exporting agricultural produce is the need of the day for the progressive transformation of this province .

In view of this context, the state government has encouraged the students who research in collaboration with the university for research related to agriculture . The state government has conducted a smart agriculture program to attract technology-friendly smart agricultural firms and attract young entrepreneurs with new ideas. Due to dependence on chemical fertilizers, the problem of fertilizer shortage has become a big problem in the country every year.  To reduce soil erosion caused by chemical fertilizers and  It is necessary to reduce the dependence on chemical fertilizers in agricultural production. We have also started production and use of alternative fertilizers. We have produced organic fertilizers and distributed them to the farmers. The state government is planning to operate a natural fertilizer factory in a state constituency.

Raithane and branding and marketing of local agricultural products and products seems very necessary. It is necessary to identify and register the patents of Raithane foods in the province and keep them on the menu in the hotels. The issue of marketing local and Raithane products has become a matter of priority for the provincial government.  

Chitwan district is the main tourist destination of Wagmati province. It is necessary to make this destination more manageable. We have planned to develop a tourism circuit connecting Sourah, Meghauli, Madi and Siraichuli of Chitwan. The provincial government is committed to building the base of the economy, developing the tourism industry and developing the tourism culture through the identification, protection and promotion of the historical, cultural, religious, cultural and natural heritage of Bagmati Province. To develop the tourism sector  The provincial government has made the idea of ​​conducting long-term strategic programs of tourism development by making tourism policy and tourism master plan of the province. 

In the discussion of Chitwan Chintan, I think it is necessary to have a deep discussion about the education of Chitwan. Chitwan district is known as a hub not only for tourism but also for education. Not only school education but also excellent educational institutions providing higher education in technical subjects are located in this district .  Which has been providing the country by producing skilled technical manpower . The provincial government is ready to join hands in the historical achievements of the educational institutions here. 

In order to fulfill the rights and responsibilities of higher education management received by the provincial government according to the constitution, we have brought the Higher Education Act to establish a university as well as put educational institutions into operation . The provincial government has invested a lot to improve the quality of education. The constitution of Nepal mentions compulsory and free education as a fundamental right of children. The provincial government is always ready to give this right to all the children in Wagmati Province. For this, I would like to inform you that the provincial government is helping the local levels to implement free and compulsory education.

Parents today are worried about the quality of their children's education. In order to provide quality education free of charge from the community school in the village, we have been assisting in the development of the physical infrastructure of the community school and the construction of digital classrooms, as well as in the plan made by the school to improve the quality . From which more than 700 community schools are benefiting every year. The Wagmati provincial government is clear that the foundation of socialism will not be established without quality public education and health care. 

That is why they are aware of the management of school nurses in secondary schools while emphasizing health and nutrition education in schools. It is mentioned in the constitution that getting free and quality healthcare is a fundamental right of citizens. In order to achieve this right, the Wagmati state government is building infrastructure, producing skilled manpower, arranging state-of-the-art treatment machines, conducting health education and public awareness programs to prevent disease rather than treating it, and is working effectively in epidemic control.
