Lumbini, where Gautama Buddha was born, is not only home to the Ashoka Pillar or the Mayadevi Temple. Several other Buddhist shrines in the 'Buddha circuit' such as Ramagrama with Astudhatu in the east, Tilaurakot in the west, Samagam where the disciples preached in the north, or Mavali Devadah in the northeast have sanctified the region itself.

History also carries its feelings from generation to generation. Therefore, even the people of Punyabhoomi are a living heritage with historical credentials. The literature that is written in the land of peace and expresses the spirit of peace is a reflection of that and should be.

literature is a medium that helps to keep the historical experience alive, new and fresh. The unique perspective and imagination within literature provides the strength to awaken the unconscious mind. Especially when it comes to Buddhist thought, there is more connection between the mind and the brain than the objectivist thing, which peace literature can connect with.

May peace be awakened in anyone's heart when they reach the Buddhist land. Let there be a mood to reflect on the efforts made in life for self-peace or charity. As Buddhism says, peace is found in humanity, morality, virtue, meditation, concentration, changeability, prudence, which are things that are connected to the daily behavior of every human being. Has that feeling been awakened in all the pilgrims traveling on the Buddha circuit? What can be done to

?

How many writers have written the literature that carries the spirit of Shanti Bhoomi? Literature has no limits, but for the writer who grew up around the birthplace of Buddha, writing peace literature has become a matter of birthright benefit. Let's look at it from an international point of view - do we not give first priority to the literature that carries Catholic values written by authors from Rome? A measure of Islamic literature by writers from the cities of Mecca or Medina is considered distinctly special. Isn't the literature of Hindu religion published from Ayodhya, Banaras or Kathmandu the first choice? Time has come for us to wonder why Lumbini is not reaping that benefit.

It is necessary to keep an organized library at Gautam Buddha International Airport so that peace literature is a priority. There can be literature in various forms from philosophy, narrative, non-narrative poetry. Audio versions of the same can be made, giving the impression of an 'audio tour' while traveling on the Lumbini circuit.

Everything in the Lumbini circuit is very valuable. From time to time many new things have been discovered during the excavations. Many facts and myths are associated with Gautama Buddha's journey from his home in Tilaurakot to Mavali and his in-laws in Devdah. Their history is connected with the trees and rivers there. Remnants of the kingdom of that time have been found in the middle of now deserted areas or new settlements. The then two Sakya and Kolya republics between Ghar and Mavali have their own stories of history and civilization. Devadah and Ramgram are mentioned as two kingdoms under the Koliya Republic, from the Danava river to the east of the present day Tinau river and to the west of the Narayani river. It has been mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures. For Buddhist pilgrims who want to come to Lumbini once in their life, how unique can it be to read and listen to the literature associated with it in the same environment?

Children's literature and research The possibility is even more special in mixed narratives. However, literature does not have the privilege of destroying history in a clean way. Literature that combines history can have some creative benefits, but it must be based on facts and evidence. Although the Lumbini Buddhist University has been established in institutional terms, there is a need for a lot of investment in organizational terms.

Rupandehi district and Lumbini province as a whole is a place actively created by the creators. Here, it is important to invest in expanding the environment of peace literature through writing. There is a need to prepare projects to translate foreign language literature into Nepali and Nepali literature into foreign languages. Bringing international writers to Lumbini through such programs focused on literature, efforts should also be made to create good literature by collaborating with local writers.

Wandering around the Lumbini circuit, there are large hoarding boards and banners hanging in a chaotic manner, detracting from the dignity of the special place. Traveling to the land of peace means being detached from materialistic things, but one should be able to perceive peace with a steady mind. In some places, in addition to the words of the Buddha, excerpts from poems, muktakas or haikus that have been hailed by local poets or glorified peace can be performed. By translating it into different languages, the Buddhists of those countries can be connected with a sense of intimacy.

Relationship to Literature

Lumbini Darshan is special for Buddhists from every corner of the world. However, that may not be the case for many. The literature of Shanti Bhoomi may still give them a sense of proximity to Lumbini. No place is a sacred place. During its development, interesting events took place in history. They can be a means of going back in time through historiography. They can be expressed in songs or documentaries and movies. Although there are extensive archaeological excavations about the shrines of the Lumbini circuit, it is now necessary to grasp its significance as an expedition and study it from a literary vein.

It is necessary to create an environment for the students of the school or higher education in that area to carry the peace heritage around them. In that order, some selected creations can be edited by Buddhist researchers and literary masters and brought to a wider readership. In a land of peace, this process can continue. There is no shortage of stories here. The only thing that is lacking is the effort to express it. Literature that connects through children has a long life. It contains the highest form of curiosity, enthusiasm and creativity.

Lumbini's infrastructure continues to show gradual leaps and bounds. Annual literature gatherings are held all over the world. With the series of such gatherings, different cities are also getting their unique identity. Lumbini is special in itself. Why not have an annual international peace literature conference there? It will not only provide a beautiful platform for peace literature, it will also contribute to Lumbini in terms of tourism.

The scope of peace literature is vast and the famous writers and literary men of the world will be longing to come to the literature conference to associate themselves with it. It will eventually widen the path to the path of peace that Gautama Buddha sought to spread.
