Vinda Pandey is a Nepalese politician. Pandey, a member of the Standing Committee of CPN-UML, is also a member of the Constituent Assembly.

Pandey, who is equally active in reading and writing, has recently published his book 'Bhuimmanche'.

Previously, books like 'Steps to Equality', 'Claim on Earth: Struggle for Rights' and 'Gender Participation in Parliamentary Politics' have also been published. She says that the recently published 'Bhuimmanche' is a document of the participation of Bhuimmanche in the democratic movement of Nepal.

"In order to protect the leaders in the underground period, it covers how the people of the ground helped to make contact between the common citizens to give them shelter," says Vinda . What is the status of those who shelter the workers who are underground now? Vinda claims that there is a reflection on this subject in his book . An edited part of the five questions asked for e-Kantipur with Pandey is presented here.

1. How do you like to read books?

First read the book to get knowledge . Lately, to support your work . Now that I am also engaged in writing, I also read books to make my writing official from a factual point of view.

book explains history . It also explains how knowledge has been produced and the situation we are in now. Studies also show that it is effective in developing creative thinking. I think we need to read a bit more philosophical and historical books to understand the series till date .

2. What effect does reading habits have on personal and social life?

book gives knowledge in the way . It gives practice and experience at that time. It helps to live life with human values.

We passed through the monarchy, then through the autocratic monarchy, and now we have come to a democratic republic . From the life of slavery, we have become sovereign citizens through subjects, peoples. When we read history and philosophy, we know what is different about it .

What should we do in our lives to be a sovereign citizen? What is our role? What are the rights ?  It also helps to understand that.

3. How to maintain the habit of reading books in the digital age?

Now, because it is difficult to deliver the physical book to many places, an ebook of my own book is also being made . Audio is also being made .

Friends think that they could have made a documentary focusing on this book as well. If we started making video clips and audio in today's time, we would have reached many readers.

people have the lowest now . While traveling somewhere, if you have an audio book, you can walk while listening to it. Now it seems that it is necessary to develop it in a multifaceted way.

4. What book has had the greatest impact on your life?

The book that influenced me to move forward in this goal is 'Nari Bandhan and Mukti'. Then we started the movement. At that time, the novel 'Aama' was very famous . When I was young, I read the song of the youth. 'Agnidiksha' was read. Novels of political philosophical variety influenced the early days.

5. Which books do you recommend to the new generation to read?

I recommend reading books related to political history and philosophy. I recommend reading books related to human values and values. I recommend reading books related to how our ritual culture is changing.

Whatever happens in life . We should at least read the book related to that. People say that reading a book makes you sleepy. But when the book wakes up the next day, the state of the pillow should be . Even if you don't have time to read a lot, read it even if it's a page or two. Everyone should make a habit of reading daily. My recommendation is to read the book which helps.
