In the meantime, the government is claiming that positive work has started, that the economy has improved, and that it has instilled hope in the common people.

On the other hand, some leaders of the ruling party and opposition parties are refuting it and commenting that the government has failed in economic prosperity, good governance and corruption control.

A conversation between the leader of the ruling party Congress Shekhar Koirala Kantipur Ganga BC with regard to the tenure of the government:

How have you evaluated the speed of the government for 100 days?

After the formation of the coalition government of Congress and UML, the common people thought that the work of the government would speed up. It does not seem that the result has come. We can see that they will be difficult for the government. But the people understood that political stability, economic development, constitutional amendment and good governance will progress when the two big parties come together. We formed an alliance with that in mind. But these works could not proceed as expected.

Why couldn't they proceed?

The government should have come up with a solid plan on how to do things better than in the past. Prime Minister KP Oliji cannot be blamed for this. After the cabinet was completed, the secretaries were changed, then the joint secretary was transferred. This has a negative impact on the work of the government. There are many other reasons why the government cannot work.

They said that the Congress-UML had formed the government to 'break despair and raise hope'. What is the reason for not being able to wake up a ray of hope in the common people from the work of the government?

The government should know more about this. I cannot say that this is the reason. Prime Minister Oliji is a man with 'will power'. Why couldn't he work? I am still amazed. Why is he confused in these hundred days? He may know.

The Congress-UML alliance was formed to maintain political stability. But the government is preparing to pass an ordinance to divide the parties. Is this correct?

The mandate given to this government by the people is to make some reforms in the constitution, to make the services available to the people easy and effective, to give them hope and trust. Why did you have to prepare to bring an ordinance on party division now? I have not been able to understand. Congress and UML are the two largest parties in the government with a two-thirds majority. The two-party government has done a good job. Small parties are in opposition, they will monitor the government by performing their religion. With the aim of dividing the party, they brought the ordinance and the mistrust between the parties will increase.

What is the reason for the failure of the government in some districts including Kathmandu Valley?

The government looked weak during floods, landslides and inundation. It is difficult to overcome such a big disaster at once. But the government could not do even the minimum work on it. Prime Minister Oliji went to the United Nations General Assembly. Heads of other agencies should have been active. The head of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority went abroad at that time, but the government did not ask for an explanation. People ask.

The opposition party has alleged that the delivery of public services could not be agile and effective, and that no attention was paid to good governance. Is this subject not a priority of the government?

If almost two-thirds of the government cannot provide good governance, how will the country move forward? The government should answer this question. I am not saying that the government did nothing in 100 days. The government passed the Transitional Justice Bill and it became a law. It was a good job. But the government has failed to directly affect the people. It is also good that the driving license is available in the citizen app.

How much is the balance between Congress and UML in terms of running this government?

Congress and UML have found a balance. I think that the government will not go hastily. The government works, you can be sure. He became a critic so that the government would do better. How much has been discussed in the

party about making the work of the ministry effective?

We are on the government's side. But even though I am on the side of the government, I am not in the government. We have to look at it in a healthy critical manner. Congress and UML have formed the government for the country. The two big parties are cooperating in the government. We are also competing together. Ministers from Congress should work in a non-controversial manner. You have to overcome many difficulties and get results.

Don't you think that the provincial government has become weaker because the necessary laws are not made?

I say honestly. The main leaders of major parties are 'biased' towards the province. If they do not make the necessary laws, how will the province work? Is it to tie the hands and feet of the province? Laws have to be made for the police, civil service, etc., and only questions can be raised about the province. In my state (Koshi), the chief secretary changed seven or eight times in a year. And how does the state run?

What should the government prioritize now?

The government should focus on good governance. Why investment-friendly environment could not be created? should be analyzed. The government is raising internal debt. For the benefit of the country, it is necessary for the major political parties to sit together and discuss. Financially, we are still in a difficult situation.
