In the beginning, I had to endure a lot of hardships to introduce the restaurant. The struggle at that time is now giving me the feeling of success. Nowadays, my shop is always crowded with tea connoisseurs.

Looking for employment in our country means wandering around aimlessly. Who can you ask to give you a job? Young people are having to go abroad day by day because they cannot find jobs in the country. It is sad to hear the news that young people who have gone abroad without learning any skills are suffering. Of course, you cannot earn as much as you have worked hard at home. But, it seems that you will not die of hunger.
Initially, I spent a few years in India with the aim of earning. I returned to my hometown because I felt that working abroad was useless. I live in Tulsipur, Gulariya Municipality-4. I am now 42 years old. To support my family, I am running Garima Khaja Ghar on the road to the District Coordination Committee, north of Citizens Bank in Gulariya-6. It has been 17 years since I started running the Khaja Ghar.
There is a heavy presence of people at the Khaja Ghar from 5 am to 10 pm. I don't feel tired from the presence of customers and their chatter. In the beginning, I had to endure a lot of hardships to introduce the Khaja Ghar. The struggle at that time is now being felt as success. Nowadays, my shop is always crowded with tea connoisseurs. When I see the crowd, it seems like the Khaja Ghar has become the choice of the residents of Gulariya. I feel very happy when a customer who has gone for tea once comes back.
I have been making and serving delicious tea that impresses the consumers. Now, half of the traders in Gulariya market call and order tea. Some come to get tea themselves. If it has to be delivered far away, Mrs. Chandra gets busy. She gets tired of delivering tea here and there all day long. My husband and wife are busy making and delivering tea all day long. I am delivering tea to the Land Revenue Office, Prabhu Bank, Janajyoti School and other nearby places. We are a family of four, husband and wife, son and daughter.
We don't have land to cultivate. I am fulfilling all my needs by selling tea all day long. I am teaching my son as an overseer for three years at Shree Mahakavi Devkota Secondary School in Gularia-8. The three-year course costs about three lakhs. My daughter is preparing to appear for SEE. I am happily raising a family by running a lunchroom.
I have not had to spread my hands in front of anyone with my hard work. I sell 35 liters of milk tea from morning to evening. Someday it may be a little less. On average, 30 liters of milk tea are sold daily. I sell tea for 25 rupees per cup. Milk costs 90 rupees per liter. I pay 10 thousand rupees per month for the lunchroom. I have to pay 14 thousand rupees per month including rent, water and electricity. The income from selling tea is happily enough to cover household expenses and educate my children.
