I am shocked that the business is not working now. Although the festival is slowly approaching, the business situation is the same. Why is the business not happening! There is no business because there is no movement of customers in the market.

Now, the whole day is waiting for customers in the shop and returning to the room in the evening. I invested by taking such a loan that the business would work, but there is silence in the business . Now I am 48 years old . There is a house in Surkhet Birendranagar-10 Khajura. Currently, I am living in Gularia Municipality-6 with a tent. It has been five years since I came to Gulria for business.

My father passed away when I was 6/7 years old. My mother brought me up sadly. Due to the poor financial situation of the family, it was not possible to read and write. After knowing and understanding a little, he decided to go to India to earn. After that, I got a shoemaking teacher in Surkhet . I learned to make shoes but I could not open a shop because I did not have money to invest.

After finding no way to open a shop, I sat on the pavement of Surkhet market for five years and did shoe repair work. After it did not support my daily living, I worked selling fish and meat for seven years with the investment of a moneylender . I went to Saudi Arabia around 2073/074 after I was unable to make a living from that business. After suffering for 27 months in the extreme heat there, I returned to my own place . I came back to my country with the thought of making happiness in my own place . Then I came to Gulria to do my own business.

It has been five years since the Surkheti leather shoe shop was opened in front of the Bardia district court. Here we make different types of leather shoes, party shoes, office shoes and school and college shoes, as well as repairing old shoes and sandals. Leather jackets are also polished. As mentioned, by making sensible and strong shoes and handing them over to the customers, when they come back from the shop happy, it gives them a sense of self-satisfaction.

Mrs. Pushpa helps in the shop throughout the day . She also helps in sewing and making new shoes. The wife has been taking medicine continuously for three years . Three years ago, he had to undergo a neck surgery due to a thyroid disorder. He has incurred a debt of about 7 lakhs due to his neck surgery.

Even though I couldn't read myself, I taught three children with sadness. The eldest daughter is married. Younger daughter has just passed class 12 . Now she is thinking of studying on campus. It has been one and a half years since my son got a job in the Nepal Army. Working in the shop all day, I hardly earn 7/800 . One day, even if you stay in the shop all day, you have to come back without a fuss.

I am worried about paying the installment of 2.2 million loan taken from a cooperative for business . Even if there is no business, the monthly installments have to be paid . You have to collect installments without eating . The rent of the shop is 13 thousand 500 per month. Daughter and we old people live in rent . Similarly, room rent, electricity and water costs 5,000 per month. 10,000 will be spent monthly on rice, dal, salt, oil, vegetables, soap, surf, clothes. 1 thousand 500 is spent monthly on the old woman's medicine . My income barely covers the expenses . But, my son is helping me with 18,000 per month.
