I wanted to stay in Nepal and do something. That's why I started doing business online at a young age. I started a business by buying beauty products and various beauty products from wholesalers in Kathmandu and selling them online.

In the beginning, I decided to do something, and I went into business using my wisdom until my wits reached me. Later I got interested in import and export. I slowly got into it online. Now I want to do business in Nepal but can't bring goods from outside or do 'import sourcing' to bring goods. We handle many types of imports including B to B and B to C. 

I especially look at customer relationships. There is a separate team to look at the legal side. We import goods from China according to the needs of traders. We help to bring goods for the traders here. Since I initially started my online business with cosmetic products, it takes a lot of work. For this, I have a good relationship with businessmen from both China and Nepal. I also export preparations made in Nepal. Although I started importing from a long time ago, I have also been increasing exports for the past two years. 

We export handicrafts made from Nepal to foreign countries. Now my interest has increased in export business. I am trying to deliver Nepali goods to foreign markets. I am also studying myself to find out which materials are in demand and where. There is a good demand in the global market for materials with Nepali originality and identity. We can create a market in that area. It is not easy to work but it is not impossible if you have the zeal and courage to do it. I see many opportunities in Nepal. On the whole, almost all Nepalis are now disappointed. Since Nepal's system is not youth friendly, many have gone abroad. Running a business is also difficult. Taxes are rising. Now my business is going down. 

My work will increase only when others give me work. It's very slow now. Maybe because our economy is down. But for some time now, it has been assumed that the economy is trying to rise. Young entrepreneurs in Nepal are facing difficulties everywhere. It is customary that no one believes at first. Many did not believe that women started business at a young age. More questions were asked than buying and selling goods. However, the difficulties became easier as we progressed. Entrepreneurs play the most important role in the economy. Nepal should have enterprise friendly policies. Those who want to do something in Nepal have gone abroad without getting the environment and opportunities. Nepal government alone cannot create employment. Promotion of enterprise increases employment opportunities. I myself have given employment to 12-13 people.

If economic policies are made to help young entrepreneurs, it will help the overall economy of Nepal. I see possibilities and opportunities in Nepal. There is a lot of potential for Nepal in the field of tourism. We are blessed with touristic beauty. We are very rich in culture, art and historical heritage. It should be able to be converted into capital. Tourism has contributed a lot to Nepal's economy. Many young entrepreneurs are stepping up to promote such a 'premium tourism destination'. If we prioritize it, it will help the economy a lot. Nepal's economy is dependent on remittances. It's not good. It is important to create opportunities here by utilizing the money received from remittances. 

Nepal also has great potential in the field of Information Technology (IT). We need to make policies to make Nepal an IT hub. Our youth are also in great demand in the IT sector of the world and they have also contributed. Even now there are many software related jobs in Nepal. It should be organized and made more comprehensive. 

If the economy of Nepal can be made youth-friendly and investment-friendly, this country will be beautiful as well as prosperous. Nepali youth should not migrate abroad. I am a firm believer in the power of women. Even if we look at the population of Nepal, the number of women is high. But women's contribution to economy and enterprise is less than that of men. That is why it is necessary to bring women forward by making them entrepreneurs. I am working in this field for Miss World's 'Beauty with the Proposal' project because I want to advance women's economic potential. 

Under this project, we should work to have a positive impact on any community in the country, improve life, and bring about some changes in society. In Miss World, not only beauty but what you do in your country and society is very important.

I had previously worked on a project called 'Shakti'. Where I worked with 5 female sisters. I helped whoever was interested through the project. They had labor but lacked skills, money and financial support. I trained them on my own strength. I cannot say that all five of those who were trained progressed. But a sister of Gorkha has opened a 'tailor' in her village and is teaching her son. It is also a pleasure to see only one person become self-sufficient. I am trying my best to advance others as well.
